Since 2007 Professor Emeritus, Fine Art Program, Art Department, University of Haifa
Over the years, Katz has designed exhibition pavilions, stage sets and costumes for the theater Record and book jackets, illustrations for magazine covers and posters. He was a member of the Editorial board of the daily newspaper Davar(1982-1992), a regular contributor to its satirical Section, Davar Acher, and a regular columnist for several other leading Israel newspapers and Magazines.
